Lanarkshire Models & Supplies

Lanarkshire Models & Supplies was established in 1999 by myself David Franks. Initially a retailer of quality model making tools and components trading at model & craft exhibitions throughout Scotland and the North of England. Ill health forced the sale of that side of the business and in 2010 LMS was relaunched as a manufacturer of quality cast white metal components and etched chassis kits for the railway modelling market. Until now, we have been selling our buffers, track cleaning kits and bufferstops through a few carefully chosen retailers and they have been very well received with glowing reviews in the model railway press. Following the retirement of these retailers we have been selling our products through our own website and at a few specialist exhibitions.

For those of you who haven't met me before.

Having worked in engineering for most of my life I'm told I have a good eye for detail and am a bit of a perfectionist - which I think is no bad thing in this line of work! I hope you will appreciate the time and effort I have put into creating the best possible quality castings at a fair price.
