BR tail lamps. Every train be it a goods, passenger or light engine would have a red tail lamp.
In use until battery lamps were introduced in the 1980/90's, always painted white.
This lamp was also used to hang on a coupling hook when a train was split or if a wagon didn't have lamp bracket hence the unusual handle shape, a very common lamp.
Supplied unpainted in a pack of five
Our loco lamps are all cast from a high quality white metal which contains a small percentage of lead to improve the strength and give a smooth surface to the finished item.
Designed to be glued in place but could be drilled out.
