Product Details
Air pumps for WD locomotives into early BR Days, used for Continental air brakes, removed when the WDs were taken over by BR. Locomotives used for the Tynedock iron ore traffic were then fitted with these pumps to operate the hopper wagon doors. BR 9Fs were fitted with two pumps, brackets need to be fabricated to fit particular locomotives.
Our detailing parts are all cast from a high quality white metal which contains a small percentage of lead to improve the strength and give a smooth surface to the finished item.
